Our Therapists

Our team of therapists are licensed by the Indiana State Massage Therapy Board and are members of professional organizations such as the American Massage Therapy Association (AMTA) or Associated Bodywork & Massage Professionals (ABMP). We adhere to their ethical, legal, and professional guidelines and standards of practice. You can be assured that you will receive a therapeutic massage from a caring and credentialed professional.

Raleigh Barrett

Raleigh Barrett, the owner of Innerwaves Massage Therapy, was born in Lafayette and graduated from William Henry Harrison High School in 2003. He obtained a degree in Computer Graphics Technology from Purdue University in 2010. Instead of pursuing additional degrees in Philosophy and Religious Studies at Purdue, Raleigh decided to obtain a Certificate in Therapeutic Massage from Ivy Tech in 2014 and became a Nationally Certified Massage Therapist (NCBTMB) later that year. He has since acquired advanced certifications in John F. Barnes Myofascial Release, Walt Fritz Foundations in Manual Therapy for Neck, Voice & Swallowing Disorders, and Systema, a Russian cultural system of fitness, biomechanics, breathwork, bodywork, and self-defense. Raleigh has a strong affinity for therapeutic work informed by Myofascial Release, Dermo Neuro Modulation, and the latest in Pain Science.

Tanya Volansky

Tanya Volansky recently moved to Indiana with her husband after living in Arizona for four years. She earned her B.A. from Randolph-Macon College and her M.S. in Therapeutic Herbal Medicine from Maryland University of Integrative Health. While seeking further education, Tanya experienced the beneficial effects of Massage Therapy and fell in love. She then attended the Arizona School of Integrative Studies and graduated as a Licensed Massage Therapist in 2019. Tanya's passion has always been to help others, and she is excited to do so through Massage Therapy.

Willow Silverayne

Willow Silverayne has lived in Lafayette, Indiana for a few years now. She received her diploma for Massage Therapy from Everest University in Tampa, Florida in 2012. Willow had an amazing educator, Henry J. Steffes, Jr., who helped shape her into the person and practitioner she is today. She then went on to gain experience in the industry and has been helping clients achieve their health and wellness goals ever since.
