At Tidasavanh Healing Thai Massage, our mission is to provide a unique and therapeutic experience that combines the ancient art of Thai massage with modern techniques and knowledge. Our founder, Bebe Khambay, grew up surrounded by the rich cultural heritage of Thai massage, which has been practiced in South-east Asian countries for over a thousand years.
Our Story
Bebe's journey in Thai massage began at a young age, when he was taught the traditional techniques by village elders in his hometown of Vientiane, Laos. He honed his skills by working with his family's elders and preparing herbal medicines to relieve aches and pains from daily activities. Bebe's teacher, who taught massage to the blind, was instrumental in shaping his unique style. After migrating to the United States in 2004, Bebe continued to refine his skills, earning a license as a massage practitioner in Virginia and graduating from Northern Virginia Therapeutic Massage School.
Our Services
We offer two distinct types of Thai massage: Traditional Thai Massage and Thai Massage on Table. Our Traditional Thai Massage is a unique bodywork experience that is performed on the floor, fully clothed in comfortable loose clothing. Our practitioner will use pressure points on Thai meridians combined with stretching to improve circulation and flexibility, increase energy flow, and relieve pain and tension in the muscles. You will leave feeling relaxed and energetic.
For those who prefer a more traditional table massage experience, our Thai Massage on Table is a modified version of our traditional massage. We apply cream or lotion to allow for long strokes and deep work, focusing mainly on muscles. Stretching is tailored to meet the individual needs of each client.
